Angels on Ice
Offered through the WNC Ice Skating Club, programs include fundamentals of ice skating, rollerblading, and conditioning. Coaches are professionally-certified, with national show and competition experience. These four week programs meet three times per week. Cost: $275. Contact Serenity Allen at 828-281-0498. TrailRidge Mountain Camp
Known to some as the "world's smallest camp." Separate boys and girls travel camps offering programs from one to five weeks in length. Enrollment for each session is limited to 16 campers. This summer: Roan Mountain Base Camp; Pisgah Forest Base Camp; French Broad Canoe Adventure; and a four-day Appalachian Trail Backpacking and Rafting expedition. Camp Rockmont
