Ballet Spartanburg is now offering a series of ballroom dance classes ranging from Waltz to Salsa on Monday nights, 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, in the Dance Center at Chapman Cultural Center.
Seasoned ballroom dance instructor Marian Norman, who brings 14 years of teaching and choreography experience to the dance floor, will lead the classes.
The 2015-2016 ballroom class schedule features six distinct and diverse sections: slow dance, Cha Cha, Hustle, Swing, Waltz, and Rumba and Salsa. Norman will teach each dance genre for five or six classes on consecutive Mondays, excluding holidays.
Individual classes cost $15 each per person, plus a small registration fee. Couples may also pay $60 for four classes or $120 for eight classes.
