Family Bike Day Set for March 29 in Woodruff

Spartanburg County Parks and Recreation is pleased to present Family Bike Day on March 29! Festivities begin at 10:00 am at the Woodruff Leisure Center 550 Cavins Road, Woodruff, SC.

Kids ages 4 - 12 can decorate their bikes for Bicycle Beauty Pageant with the theme of “My Favorite Thing About Spring.” Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. After the pageant, join Penny Shaw from Safe Kids for a bike safety rodeo! During the children’s program, parents can enjoy a 45-minute adult bike ride through Woodruff with Jean Crow from Partners for Active Living. No experience is necessary, but HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. Teens 13 - 18 may join the adult bike ride if accompanied by a parent.
