Dottie’s Toffee Brings Ice Cream, Sweets To Downtown Spartanburg

Dottie’s Toffee will celebrate the grand opening of its new sweet shop on March 19th, 2015! Located at 155 W. Main Street, the new downtown location will be a prominent addition to Morgan Square.

Ice cream, toffee, and assorted signature sweets will be offered at the new downtown toffee shop and cafe. A glass viewing area to watch candy-making will allows for a front-row seat in seeing how this classic treat is made.

This is the third location for Dottie’s Toffee, a Spartanburg favorite that has been operating since 2006. Owner / founder Nick Belmont, alongside his mother, Cindy Holland, took a long-standing family favorite recipe and built a booming candy business. The pair are excited to bring a new family-friendly business downtown. Belmont remarks, “It’ll give families an opportunity to get dessert after dinner and enjoy Morgan Square.”

Currently located on North Spring Street, Dottie’s Toffee has been renovating the new 2,200 square-feet Main Street location since late 2014, which will offer ice cream, coffee, and sweets to customers. The renovation included the complete addition of a kitchen, party room, and structural improvements to the building.

Dottie’s has been featured in Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, Southern Living, TOWN Magazine, Garden & Gun, and countless blogs nationwide. Sold in over 100 stores across the country, the candy is still handmade by Belmont himself, and remains a proud Certified South Carolina product.
