In an effort to promote healthy eating and access to fresh produce, Molina Healthcare and Hub City are hosting a public farmers market to provide free produce and cooking demonstrations at Northside Harvest Park.
The event is open to the public and will offer the first 300 attendees free produce to take home in a reusable shopping bag. The market will be open from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and located at 498 Howard Street Spartanburg, SC 29303.
In addition, Molina Healthcare is sponsoring free mammograms for women ages 50 to 65 and ReGenesis Health Care will be administering free health screenings including blood pressure, glucose and BMI checks.
