Get out the gloves and hand pruners... Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve needs your help to keep the Garden growing! Join Jeff, Hatcher's Horticulturist, every Thursday from 9am-noon or the folliwing Saturdays, from 9am-noon:

Not good at digging? Volunteers may also assist in administrative capacities, such as writing articles or editing the newsletter, helping to coordinate special events at the Garden, fundraising, preparing direct mailings and other office procedures.

Leading special groups on a tour through the Garden is another wonderful way to volunteer. Good speakers are needed to make off-site presentations to civic and garden clubs. Contact the Garden Office at 864-574-7724 to set up an opportunity.

Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve is a 10-acre public garden located at 820 John B. White Sr, Blvd, Spartanburg, SC. Open 365 days a year during daylight hours with no admission fee for families and individuals. The Garden features a series of ponds; walking trails; plantings of annuals, perennials and shrubs; a native woodland of mixed hardwoods; and a diverse population of wildlife.
