Writers’ Night Out is an ongoing writers’ group which meets at Hub City Bookshop and is open to anyone in the community.
The goal of the group is to build a community of writers in the Upstate. Rachel Richardson will host the group at the Hub City Bookshop from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
Please feel free to bring up to 5 pages of double spaced prose or poetry. We usually suggest bringing six copies to distribute. You can also email your work to Rachel ([email protected]) and we will make copies for you in advance of the meeting.
The format is usually as follows: a discussion of writing and the writing life, a workshop and critique for those who brought work, and then a prompt to generate new writing.
