International Mold Corporation Establishing First South Carolina Operation

International Mold Corporation (IMC), a Michigan-based aluminum design and build company, is establishing a new manufacturing operation in Spartanburg County. The project is expected to bring $6.2 million in new investment and create 60 new jobs.

Established in 2006 and headquartered in Clinton Township, Mich., IMC offers a comprehensive variety of services, including aluminum injection, reaction injection molding (RIM) and blow mold design and build services, as well as engineering, in-house tryouts, in-house low-volume production runs, prototype and low-volume production assembly, 3-D laser scanning, reverse engineering scanning, logistics and more. With greater than 100 employees across seven facilities, IMC utilizes state-of-the-art technology to supply products to a variety of industries, including the automotive sector.

Located at 865 Victor Hill Road in Spartanburg, S.C., the company will be constructing a new 24,000-square-foot facility, with the ability for future expansion of up to 100,000 square feet. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of April 2017.
