Junior League of Spartanburg, Spartanburg’s premier organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community, is proud to announce the 2015 Board of Directors.

Since 1940, the Junior League of Spartanburg has effectively worked to help women, children and families. JLS has grown to an organization with over 500 members, including attorneys, teachers, marketers, stay-at-home moms and everything in between. JLS has contributed over 1.6 million volunteer hours and over $1.5 million to the Spartanburg community.
JLS is celebrating 75 years of service in the Spartanburg community this year.
In addition to holding fundraisers for local causes in the Spartanburg community, we directly support the Spartanburg area through the Upstate Family Resource Center, Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen, and Mini-Grants for Teachers. Our outreach programs are designed to provide maximum benefit to our communities through our league volunteers and direct financial support.
