What is it?
Feeding Innovation is a comprehensive technical assistance program designed to support entrepreneurs interested in developing or expanding healthy food businesses in food deserts or underserved areas of the state. Examples of businesses include farmers’ markets, mobile markets, corner stores, and CSAs. The program’s goal is increasing access to healthy food while supporting the development of strong, local entrepreneurs and community-based businesses.
What can I expect?
• An 8-week course with mentorship through NxLevel Courses.
• The skills and knowledge you need to successfully operate a healthy food business
• An unparalleled networking opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs
• A solidified business plan
• Pitching your business plan to a panel of judges for a chance to win $12,500 in seed capital
• Leaving the course with an actionable plan and next steps for starting or expanding your business
