Information

Roasters and coffee lovers — come by Little River Coffee Bar and Hub City Bookshop on Thursday, February 27th for a talk with Dr. Paul Robbins on the ecological and environmental impacts (good or bad) of large scale coffee farming.

Learn how a small foreign roaster can positively impact coffee growing regions and farmers, as well as the difficulties and benefits in obtaining product labels such as Fair Trade and Organic.

Paul Robbins is the dean of the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he guides the institute in serving as a world leader in addressing rapid global environmental change.
