Spartanburg Philharmonic Presents Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver

Doyle Lawson, the popular American traditional bluegrass and Southern gospel musician, returns to the Upstate on Saturday, December 6 for a lively performance at Chapman Cultural Center. Lawson will be joined by the group Quicksilver.

Lawson is a Bluegrass legend called a “mandolin virtuoso” with “perfectly silken harmony” by The New York Times. Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver have multiple Grammy nominations and are seven-time winners of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA)’s Vocal Group of the Year award. In 1997, “There’s a Light Guiding Me” was a 39th Annual Grammy Award nominee for Best Southern Gospel, Country Gospel or Bluegrass Gospel Album. Through the years since, Quicksilver has toured regularly, performing at festivals concerts and other musical events

Doors to this event open at 6:45 pm with drinks and live music in the lobby. The performance start at 8:00 pm.
