Fuddruckers Challenges Guests to Create Unbeatable Burgers

Fuddruckers, home of the “World’s Greatest Hamburgers,” recently announced their “Can You Top This?” Challenge.

Fuddruckers pioneered the “build your own burger” concept in 1980, taking straight-from-the-butcher meat, grilled to order, and serving it up on fresh buns baked in-house daily. Guests are given the creative license to build their own “World’s Greatest” burger using the fresh toppings bar, which includes everything from homemade pico de gallo and crinkle-cut pickles to melted cheese sauce and Mother Fuddruckers Mustard.

“Can You Top This?” contestants will build their perfect burger, snap a photo, and share it on Instagram using #myfuddisbetter with a description of how they topped it. Fuddruckers will select one winner per week, per location, through May 31, 2015. Winners will receive the chance to win Fudd stuff and recreate their burger on live TV.

In addition, Fuddruckers will make a donation to a local Humane Society for each unique Instagram post. Participating restaurants include Upstate locations in Spartanburg, Greenville, Greer, and Anderson, and additional locations in Matthews, N.C., Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Pigeon Forge, T.N.

“We are famous for our burgers, but we also feel that our vibrant and inviting atmosphere, friendly team, and commitment to superior ingredients and toppings resonate with guests and keep them coming back for more,” states Allen Johnston, Franchise Owner. “This challenge is a fun and entertaining way for people who love great burgers to make the best even better – for a good cause.”
