Junie B. Jones is starting first grade, and everything is changing! Join us as Junie B. navigates new waters, and bravely faces challenges relating to everything from discovering she needs glasses, to her friendships with classmates.
Packed with fun-filled songs, a kickball tournament and of course – Junie B.’s famous “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” this funny and heartwarming musical adaptation of Barbara Park’s best-selling book series is sure to capture your heart.

Jones, The Musical, and Interim Director of the Spartanburg Youth Theatre, can hardly contain his excitement at the magnitude of this production; “Almost every cast member grew up reading and relating to the characters in the Junie B. series. The cast has had a blast bringing these characters to life, and those who come to see the show will love seeing their favorite characters live onstage. There is also plenty of humor that the adults will enjoy.”
The cast and crew of Junie B. Jones, The Musical is made up of local youth in grades 7 -12, supporting the Spartanburg Youth Theatre’s mission of producing theatre “by kids, for kids.”
