Mobile Meals is a home-delivered hot meal service for the homebound of Spartanburg County who are unable to prepare their own food. No charge is made for the meals, delivered Monday through Friday, and there are no income or age restrictions for potential recipients. Volunteers are the life line of Mobile Meals; it takes at least 150 volunteers per day to see that meals are delivered to the 2,000 recipients served each weekday.
