So many shoes, so little time! One of the largest selections of shoes and footwear in the Southeast. Tops for Shoes is located in downtown Asheville, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Though we are a locally-owned, single store operation, we serve a six state region due to the fact that Asheville is a vacation destination. At its current location, Tops for Shoes fills nearly half a city block. The store is owned by Bob and Ellen Carr who took over operations from Ellen’s parents in the 1970’s. Tops for Shoes offers an extensive selection of brands and sizes to fill most any customers’ needs. There are 40 salespeople with many years experience.

Visit the 36th annual Asheville Quilt Show from Sept 28 – 30. The show takes place at the WNC Agriculture Center’s Davis Center on Friday and Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Featuring over 350 quilts, quilts for sale, kids sewing station, plenty of food, a hand-made item gift shop, vendors, and product raffle. Entrance fee is $7 and parking is free.
