This is What Makes Us Girls is now on view in The Milliken Art Gallery.
In this solo exhibition, artist, educator and curator, Karen Ann Myers titillates the viewers with her work by “investigating the psychological complexity of women through intimate observations in the bedroom.”
Myers will present a large selection of painting and works on paper in the exhibition. Myers lives and works in Charleston, South Carolina, where she is Associate Director of the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art at the College of Charleston. She received her MFA in painting from Boston University and her BFA in studio art from Michigan State University.
The exhibition will run through September 25, 2014. Admission is free!
